This is important because with more and more of us choosing to drink less alcohol but better-quality products when we do, it’s nice when we actually get to taste it! I’m passionate about Ever and my mission to create low sugar mixers because I believe that having a drink or two with friends creates important social bonds and is incredibly uplifting and restorative, I just don’t believe that we should have to compromise a healthy lifestyle while doing it.
EVER AMERICAN TONIC IS THE FIRST OF WHAT I HOPE WILL GROW TO BE MANY DIFFERENT MIXER OPTIONS FOR THOSE OF US THAT WANT THE BEST MIXERS TO GO WITH OUR FINE SPIRITS BUT WITHOUT ANY OF THE EXCESSIVE SUGAR OR ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS THAT ARE SO COMMON IN THE CURRENT OFFERINGS.
I started Ever because I was on the verge of giving up my beloved gin & tonics. I couldn’t justify the excessive amount of sugar in all of the available products, and I was totally unwilling to make the shift to a “diet” option that contained artificial sweetener or sugar derived from some exotic fruit. The more I thought about it, the more I began to notice that a lot of people I knew personally and observed at bars and restaurants, were saying the same thing – too much sugar, too sweet etc.

it occurred to me that while there are plenty of options for sugar conscious consumers in the alcohol RTD category (hard seltzer etc.), there was very few options for those who wanted to mix their own drinks. I have worked in many different industries, but I always found myself coming back to food and beverage, so I decided that I would do it again and try to create a company that makes low calorie mixers from the best ingredients available and with real sugar, just not very much of it. It turns out that by dialing the sugar content way down, you get a clean, dry tasting beverage that actually allows you to experience the subtle flavors of the spirits that you are mixing it with.
